The Big Knit 2025: Final Numbers Are In!

We’re thrilled to share the results of this year’s Big Knit campaign – and it’s all thanks to you!

Our wonderful knitters got those needles clicking and created an incredible 2,924 little hats, raising £877.20 to support older people in Sheffield. Every stitch makes a difference, and we’re so grateful for your time, creativity, and generosity.

The Big Knit is all about community spirit – and this year you showed it. Each tiny hat not only brings a smile but also helps Age UK Sheffield continue our work with local older people.

And the good news? There’ll be another Big Knit campaign coming soon! We’re just waiting for the official dates to be announced, so keep your wool and needles handy.
