Age UK Sheffield Proudly Supports Silver Sunday 2025

We’re delighted to share that Age UK Sheffield will once again be supporting Silver Sunday, the national day dedicated to celebrating older people across the UK.

This year, Silver Sunday will take place on Sunday, 5th October 2025, with events running on the day itself and throughout the month – both in Sheffield and across the country.

Silver Sunday is all about bringing people together. Every year, hundreds of free and low-cost activities take place across the UK to help older people feel valued, connected, and part of their communities. It’s also a brilliant opportunity to try something new, meet others, and discover the support that’s available locally.
