Easter art competition
We’re excited to invite children across Solihull to take part in our Easter Art Competition! It’s a fun, creative activity for the school holidays, and a great way to support older people in our community.
How it works
Children are encouraged to create their own Easter‑themed artwork during the holidays. It can be a drawing, painting, collage, or any other flat artwork on A4 or A3 paper.
To make sure your child’s entry is counted, please follow these steps:
1. Add your child's name and age to the artwork
Please write their name clearly on the front or back of the artwork, as well as their age, as there will two winners based on age category.
2. Sign up to our mailing list*
To validate the entry, an adult needs to complete our short form below to join our mailing list. This means you will hear about our future events, activities and other news, and how your support makes a difference. You can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Send or deliver the artwork to us
You can post or drop the art to our office:
Lower Ground Floor, The Core, Homer Road, Solihull B91 3RG
If hand delivering, please come between 10am-1pm Monday-Friday only. The entrance is at the bottom of the ramp from the library.
All entries must reach us by Tuesday 14 April.
The winners
The competition will be judged by an Age UK Solihull volunteer on Thursday 16 April. Two winners, split into age categories, will receive a bundle of milk chocolate Easter eggs which will need to be collected from us at The Core (we’ll contact you to arrange). The winning artwork will be shared on social media and displayed at The Core until the end of April.

Thank You for Supporting Age UK Solihull

We hope your child enjoys getting creative this Easter, and we look forward to seeing their artwork.
