St George's Day Walk

This event has been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. A new date will be confirmed as soon as possible. It would be great if we could make up some of the funds that will be lost from cancelling the event. We know this is a difficult time for everyone, but if you are in a position to support us, why not dress in red and white on 23 April and donate the price of registration (£5) to our fundraising appeal?

Where? Birmingham Business Park, 3100 Solihull Parkway, Birmingham, B37 7YN
How much? Entry is £5. You will receive a flag and a bottle of water upon registration, and a certificate upon completion. There will also be vouchers available for FREE pizzas, burgers and hot dogs, but be quick as they are first come, first served!
Join us for a lunchtime walk around Birmingham Business Park, our 2019/20 partners, to celebrate St George’s Day. Not only is it a chance to recognise the patron saint of England, it’s also the opportunity to raise money to help us support over 10,000 older people in Solihull each year.
Register and pay your £5 at the Age UK Solihull gazebo by the lake at between 12.30pm-1.00pm, or pre-register now to avoid queues. Pick up your St George’s Day flag and bottle of water, then walk the marked route (approximately 2.6 miles and wheelchair/pushchair friendly) with friends and colleagues. A certificate will be waiting for you back at the registration tent, and free pizza, burgers and hot dogs will be available while stocks last!
