The Mayor of Elmbridge opens Age UK Surrey's new Vintage charity store on 24th August 2022

The Mayor of Elmbridge, Councillor Simon Waugh officially opened Age UK Surrey’s new independent charity shop at 11.00am on Wednesday 24th July 2022.  The Vintage Store is situated at 32 High Street, Esher, KT10 9RN.

“I am thrilled we have this fantastic opportunity of a prominent high street location in Esher.  As an independent Surrey charity, we need to raise local funds to deliver local services.  Our charity Vintage Store will give us a vital revenue stream to support our services and activities for older people”, said Sue Zirps, Age UK Surrey Chief Executive.

“Recycling, Repurposing and Re-Gifting are very important messages and I hope the local community will help us and enjoy shopping for good quality second-hand items in the Vintage Store”.

From 24th August the shop will be open Monday-Saturday 9.30am – 5.00pm and Sunday 10.00am – 4.00pm.  Good quality ladies and men's clothing, books and bric-a-brac can also be donated during these times.
