Find out how to grow your membership by engaging with older people

Following on from our 'Why no one should have no one' events where older people came together to tell their community what it's like to live alone or care for a partner in later life.

As part of the 'No one should have no one' Campaign, Age UK Wakefield District worked with St George's Community Centre and held two events for older people, living on their own or caring for a partner, to share their experiences with local groups.

The evening will contain:

  • Loads of good advice
  • Finding out how to grow you group membership engaging older people
  • Hearing first-hand what it means to live alone in later life
  • Discovering how to engage with older members
  • Hearing great talks from growing groups

Refreshements of Wine, Cheese and Nibbles

We would like many people to attend this event but due to space limitations we have to restrict attendance to Local Groups only - three representatives each.
