Join us this May as we encourage people to get more active and have a little fun whilst getting healthier!

I Move in May with Age UK is a new twist on our annual fundraiser, I May Move.  We want as many people as possible to feel included so whatever your fitness level, you can join in the fun!

After lockdown, many people have struggled to regain their fitness and activity levels, we hope to encourage people to move more in the month of May and maybe, raise a little money to support the work our charity does across the Wakefield District.

So whether you’d like to join a walking group, sign up for a marathon, cycle coast to coast or improve your fitness at home, we’re here to support your personal goal with lots of tips, groups to join and cheering from the sidelines.

If you are already a member of an exercise group and would like to showcase the fantastic effort everyone puts in each week, get in touch so our team can visit and celebrate you on our social media channels.

If you’d like to use your personal challenge as a way to raise some funds for Age UK Wakefield District, then why not sign up for free on our JustGiving page and make it super easy for your friends and family to donate.  You can raise sponsorship by committing to Move each day in May or by undertaking a one off challenge like walking the three peaks.  However you can raise money, we’re here to support your activity so please get in touch on 01977 552114 to have a friendly chat about what we can do to make your Move in May a success!
