Age UK Wakefield District offers lots of services for older people and their carers.
We pride ourselves on the quality of all that we do, making sure that standards of professional delivery are maintained at all times by both staff and volunteers.
We believe that by listening to the needs of people who use our services and by working together as a team, we are able to deliver services that respond directly to local need.
We are always interested to hear if you can think of ways for us to improve the delivery of our services or if you can see ways for us to develop what we do.
Age UK Wakefield District now have Professional Care Assistants providing flexible, domiciliary care for older people. Across the Wakefield District, we provide a seven day a week service supporting individuals to remain in their own homes and live as independently as possible.
The Social Contact Scheme is a free service that aims to enable individuals who have experienced significant change to regain confidence and independence. This could be through a hospital admission, medical condition, or other altered personal circumstance.
