We are very grateful to receive funding from Arun District Council for our Littlehampton Clubs but it is your fundraising efforts, support and donations that make the extra difference to what we can do. Without you and your support we couldn't continue to provide vital services supporting older adults in Littlehampton and the surrounding areas.
A large part of our income comes from club membership and the classes we run as well as our Tea & Toast mornings at St. Catherine's and The Laurel's proceeds of which go back directly into the Community Clubs.
We rely heavily on donations to help fund projects and services for unmet needs, especially for the most vulnerable older people. We raise money for our work by holding a number of events and activities including raffles, tombolas and our annual Big Knit.
As well as our fundraising events, we also receive generous donations from our members and their families including legacies and in memorium donations. We also receive funds and Gifts in Kind from organisations, including John Lewis , The Body Shop International, Hollands Funeral Directors and other charitable trusts and foundations and other grant-making bodies. Our thanks go out to everyone who has helped in one way or another.
During the year our Community Clubs across Littlehampton raised approximately £3000 and had a lot of fun along the way. If you'd like to join in with the fun and fundraise for Littlehampton Clubs, click here.
