Age UK West Sussex Brighton & Hove is a local, independent charity which aims to change the way we age. The ‘go-to’ for expert guidance and support in later life, it tackles issues like poverty, ageism and loneliness, helping people remain healthy, independent, informed and connected. We offer information, advice and services, while our centres provide activities for fun, friendship and fitness.

Age UK West Sussex, Age UK Brighton & Hove and Age UK Horsham District merged in 2020 and are now working together to support older people in our area.

We are now known collectively as Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove and the merger allows us to share expertise, resources and local knowledge, ensuring services are sustainable and able to support increased demand.

We are managed by a Board of Trustees chaired by Alison Shea Mohammed.
