We have a great gym for older adults offering you the chance to be fit at 50, improve your fitness over 50 and offering a range of senior workouts for everyone! You can choose whatever suits you as we have exercise for over 50s, over 60s, 70s and beyond. The Laburnum Gym is fitted with some of the latest equipment and our senior fitness classes take place in a friendly, encouraging and sociable atmosphere.
It's never too late to start enjoying the health and wellbeing benefits of a gym.
Whether you're a long-time gym-user or would like the opportunity to find out more and join the fun, the Laburnum Gym is open to you as an Age UK West Sussex member.
There's no need to wear anything special, simply comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict movement.

We are able to take NHS medical recommendations from GPs for senior people with a variety of conditions (such as hypertension, obesity, asthma, mental health problems and back problems) and will tailor a programme of gym work to suit each person's needs.
One-to-one private appointments are also available with Sarah, our exercise referral instructor. These last for one hour and are priced at £25 per session, six sessions for £130 or ten sessions for £200.
Has sessions costing just £2.50 for members and £5.00 for non-members or pay just £17 a month for unlimited use.
