Pride 2026

Age UK Bristol and FAB will be at Pride 2026 at the Downs.

Join us for the first ever FAB social at Bristol Pride! 

You can find us in the information tent or on our own shaded space dedicated to over 50s. Have a sit, rest and recharge with us. 

Friends Ageing Better (FAB), as part of Age UK Bristol, has a long stanting commitment to the over 50s LGBTQ+ community. Back in 2019, following requests from members, we set up our first LGBTQ+ FAB Cafe in St Werburghs, which was followed by a sister cafe in Southville. Both FAB Cafes are still going strong. 

We have worked along side our members and the team at Pride to provide our own dedicated FAB gazebo with seats and shade. It will be open to anyone over 50 to enjoy. This will be a space to socialise and take a break. We’ll be near the accessible track,there are accessible toilets and free water available on site.

We will also have an information stand in the information tent, where you can find out more about our services, including Information & Advice and FAB sign up forms. 

Pride is taking place on Saturday 11th July 2026, from 11am - 10pm (drop in any time) at Clifton Downs. Tickets can be purchased directly from the Bristol Pride website. 

Our members are also self-organising to march together during Pride representing over 50s in the LGBTQ+ community, who oftentimes can be underepresented. If you would like information about how to join them, please email us at fab@ageukbristol.org.uk.
