Bristol Walk Fest is back, with themed walks every day of the month, from sunrise to after dark.
Bristol Walk Fest kicked off on 1 May, bringing a packed programme of over 400 walks and events to the city, celebrating the many ways people can explore Bristol on foot.
With 80 providers involved and over 80% of events free, the festival continues to make walking accessible, inclusive and social — whether you’re looking to discover somewhere new, meet others, or simply enjoy time outdoors.
As Age UK Bristol, we will be registering a team for 'Walk Bristol' on Saturday 30th of May. This is a non-competitive, fre-to-enter signed and supported walk offeing accessible 1 mile, 5 mile and 10 mile supported walking challenges that take in the stunning sights of Birstol. The walk starts from Castle park at 10am and is being organised by the GoodMiles Team.
'Walk Bristol' been designed to support fundraising for voluntary organisations too so we're aiming for a 5 mile AUKB team walk for a suggested minimum £2 donation. If you would like to walk 5 miles to support older people in our city, please contact us on admin@ageukbristol.org.uk.
Keep an eye out for Walkfest 2026 brochures at your nearest library, community centre and other venues. You can also see the full programme online on the Bristol Walkfest website: https://www.bristolwalkfest.com/.
