Home Help Service
Helping you be happier at home
Our Home Help is a paid for service offering friendly support in your own home.
We provide a regular Home Help service and one-to-one companionship support.
The same carer visits every time so you can build up a trusted and friendly relationship with them.
We can also sit / stay with housebound clients for up to 4 hours at a time.
Our service provides regular visits and is available from Monday to Friday.
We carry out a free initial assessment to tailor our Home Help service to meet your individual requirements.
Our staff can support you with a variety of tasks. We’ve listed a selection of popular tasks below, but please contact us with your full requirements.
The service is currently available in Newtown, Montgomery and Welshpool. We are also looking to expand the service into other parts of Powys, with this being guided by local demand, so we encourage you to get in touch if you would like the service in your area.
"The service is fantastic. It has enabled me to stay in my own home."

This might include:
- Reconnecting with friends and family through letter writing
- Enjoying fresh air and light exercise on walks
- Playing board games for fun and mental stimulation
- Baking cakes and sharing the joy of homemade treats
