Positive Steps operates in the Milton Keynes area. This service might be right for you if you are:

Aged 50 years or over
Experiencing loneliness or social isolation
Have recently experienced a significant life event
Are willing to engage in face-to-face visits and work towards personal goals
Would benefit from support to rebuild confidence, increase independence and reconnect with your community.

About this service

Many people go through times when they feel isolated, less confident, or unsure about getting involved in activities or community life. Our Positive Steps service offers friendly, person-centred support to help you work towards small, meaningful goals that matter to you. Positive Steps is a short-term service, providing support for up to 6 months.

The service will focus on empowering you to:
• Feel more confident and connected
• Build new friendships and social networks
• Re-engage with your local community
• Improve emotional wellbeing and independence
