Reviews of Approved Electrical

Stuart Cousin of Approved-Electrical has just completed work on my property comprising a review of my previous EICR, which was expired, a check on all my electrical installations, a programme of remediation resulting from this and a complete re-test so that I now have a safe house and an up-to-date EICR8.3 Certificate.

I contacted Stuart having phoned AgeUK MK to ask about your 'trusted traders' scheme. It was very resassuring to know that I could contact him with confidence.

I am very pleased with the work that has been done. Stuart is well qualified and highly skilled, thorough and meticulous in the way he works, intelligent and a good problem-solver. He is also a good communicator, explaining what he is doing and answering questions without being patronising. He is punctual, tidies up as he goes, and takes great care when moving furniture etc. I felt entirely comfortable providing him with a key so that he could come and go to his vehicle when I was not in the house, for example to collect parts ordered for the job in hand etc.

I have no hesitation in recommending him and indeed have shared his details with several friends already (with his permission of course!)

Stuart was brilliant in the way he understood the difficulty I was having with my electrics which had caused the loss of signal to my landline, tv and WiFi.  He came straight away and quickly identified and rectified the problem.  WiFi , tv and landline were restored. He checked all the electrics in the lounge to ensure that they were safe. I will certainly use him again when anything else requires an electrician.

He was cheerful, professional and cleared up after himself, leaving the kitchen exactly as he had found it after installing my extractor fan. I employed Stuart to move a light switch and put in two new sockets for my new study. Stuart was very polite and friendly from the initial contact to the end of the job. He was easy to chat to and showed empathy and sympathy with my situation. 

Stuart was able to advise about the job to ensure that I had the best outcome. He worked neatly and cleaned up well.
