Have you got the app?

The new NHS Test and Trace app launched on 22nd September and aims to make the process of controlling the virus through through test and trace much easier. If you have a smartphone, Apple or Android, you can download the app for free and give the app permission to scan the QR codes that will be shown on a poster at various businesses that you visit. This includes pubs, restaurants, shops and other businesses that deal with the public and is used to inform you if someone in the place you have visited has tested positive for the virus. The app then tells you what you need to do next. It is another tool in controlling the virus. If you don't have a smartphone, don't worry because businesses will still take your contact details for test and trace in the usual way. If you need advice or help downloading the app, there is advice available in the downloadable documents below.
