Free Wills Month - 2026

Free Wills Month returns this March

Free Wills Month is back in March 2026, giving people aged 55 and over the opportunity to have a simple will written or updated for free by a participating local solicitor.

Free Wills Month

Starting Monday, 2 March, this nationwide campaign aims to raise awareness of how important it is to have a valid will in place, helping you protect the people and causes you care about most.

Many of us put off making a will, but having one can bring real peace of mind. A will ensures your wishes are clear, helps reduce stress for loved ones, and gives you control over what happens in the future.

There is no obligation to leave a gift to charity when taking part. However, after providing for family and friends, some people choose to leave a gift in their will to support causes close to their heart.

A gift in a will to Age UK Sheffield could make a lasting difference to older people across our city. It could help fund vital local services – from tackling loneliness through friendship and support, to helping older people access trusted information, advice, and practical help when they need it most.

Leave a Legacy – Make a Lasting Difference
At Age UK Sheffield, we're here for older people who need us—today, tomorrow, and into the future. By leaving a gift in your will, you can help ensure that future generations of older people in Sheffield continue to get the support they deserve.
