Free, friendly support across Sheffield and Doncaster.
Living with cancer can affect many parts of your life. If you are living with or recovering from cancer, or if you are caring for someone with cancer, you might need a little extra support to help you regain your independence. Maybe you can't do everything you’d like to after a recent hospital stay? Or maybe you’re finding it harder to get out and meet friends?
Our cancer support service is free and supported by Weston Park Cancer Charity. It is targeted at people aged 50 or over in Sheffield & Doncaster who are living with cancer. We are here to help. Our team will listen to you, talk through what support is available and help you find the right next step.

How we can help you
Money and benefits
- You may be able to get extra money or benefits.
- We can check what you may be entitled to and help you understand what to do next.
Staying independent
- Sometimes you may need a little extra help with everyday life.
- We can help you find support to stay safe and independent at home.
- This could include help around the home, equipment or finding other services that can support you.
Getting to appointments and getting around
- If getting to appointments or travelling is difficult, there may be help available.
- We can help you find transport and other support, including services available through Weston Park Cancer Charity.
Local groups and activities
- Would you like to meet other people, try an activity or find support near you?
- We can help you find groups, activities and other services in Sheffield and Doncaster.
