Help older people in Solihull this winter
No one should face winter alone
Winter can be a difficult time for many older people in Solihull. As temperatures drop and the days grow shorter, loneliness deepens, bills rise, and the pressure of keeping warm and well becomes overwhelming. For some, January and February can be the hardest months of the year.
At Age UK Solihull, we’re here to make sure no one has to face these challenges alone — and with your support, we can reach even more people who need us.
Why your support matters
Solihull has one of the fastest‑growing older populations in the UK. Many live alone, far from family, and are struggling with:
- Loneliness and isolation
- Rising heating and food costs
- Poor physical or mental health
- Worries about debt or benefits
- Lack of social contact or support
Your donation helps us provide practical help, emotional support and warm, welcoming spaces throughout the winter months.
