The Going Flat Out Team

Helen and the team will be swimming in a relay to cover a total distance of 2Km in open water to raise funds for Age UK Wakefield District.
The Going Flat Out Team are 4 swimmers ranging in experience, from complete novices to a serious competative triathlete. They will aim to challenge themselves according to their diferent ability levels and raise a useful amount of money to support the excellent work of Age UK Wakefield District. There will also be much laughter.
Helen and the team will be swimming in open water at:
Blue Lagoon, Spring Lodge Lake
Northfield Lane,
Doncaster,
North Yorkshire,
DN6 9BB,
on
Saturday, 11 August 2018 - 2.00pm
Each member of the team will swim 500M making a total of 2Km. This is a timed race with an Aussie Exit for the hand over. The event is run by the fantastically supportive safety conscious Blue Lagoon team headed by 'Coach Morg'. Thanks for your support guys as always!
Team members are:
- Helen, retired and very busy
- Emma, who works at Age UK Wakefield District
- Mick, Emma's husband and they are both new to outdoor swimming
- Lastly there is Barry a family friend and a superbly competative triathlete
They will all be going 'flat out' in their very different fashions.
