Armchair exercises with Durham University Fitness Team

The Durham University Fitness Team have worked with their Staff and Student Volunteering teams to create and distribute an accessible armchair workout routine to help keep people active across County Durham.

 

This routine especially good for those who aren't able to leave their homes or are in a care home.

 

Join Richie (a qualified gym/personal trainer at the University) on YouTube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsB7oWSQP-0&t=228s and he will guide you through a 20 minute Armchair Aerobics session with exercises that engage your whole body - you can even add some tins of beans to make it more difficult!

We hope this brings something different and fun to your day whilst also keeping you fit and your joints moving during this difficult time.
