Be Scam Aware
We're working hard to keep older people in the County safe and well during the Covid-19 situation. This includes making sure everyone is Scam aware. We want you to be aware of potential scam telephone calls, emails and callers to your door. Please remember,
- Age UK County Durham will only call you to offer a service or information that has been requested by yourself or via your family/friend/support service
- Age UK County Durham will never ask for your bank card PIN number
- Age UK County Durham will only come to see you at home if a visit has been previously arranged with us
If in doubt close your door, or hang up your telephone and call us on 0191 386 3856 or contact the police
