We have found Nick to be an able plumber, with a pleasant manner, and a wealth of problem solving knowledge. He is a tidy worker too. Last year he solved the problem of a leaking tap, where the main water pipe enters our house, and this week he has solved the problem of a syphon regularly hissing in a toilet and replaced an old shower and kitchen tap.

We would recommend him to anyone.

I requested a replacement toilet push button and kitchen sink mixer tap.

From start to finish, the plumber - Chris was professional in every way.  He was friendly.  He  informed and explained to me what needs to be done, the parts required, with a quote which he texted to me.

I am very pleased with the standard of the work, which was good value and would recommend him (which I have done to my friends over 55).

I would definitely use him again and have put his number on my go to list for a plumber.

Thanks very much to Nick, who responded to my text about a plumbing problem (washing machine/ kitchen outflow cracked).  He responded within a few hours of my sending the text, and popped by to take a look.  He came the following day and fixed the problem.  I am grateful.  I thought he did a very good job, and I was interested in his comment that joints should work with washers (and not need extra eg plumbers’ mate to seal).  So far, fingers crossed, washing machine working really well, along with kitchen sink outflow.  Thanks, again, to Nick, and to Age Uk MK for keeping this list.

Helped by the information on your recommended traders site I used Binzy Building Services for several jobs on my property. The work included repair of fencing, fitting LED lights in the garage and repairing some brickwork. I was very pleased with the work that was done, including the cleanup afterwards, which was much appreciated.

HI just to say a big thank you to Binzy. I rang this morning as had a leaking mixer tap that was getting worse. I am disabled and struggling. Neil senior came out checked the tap i would need and went out to buy new mixer tap. He came back dropped it off and said his son would be out to fix it. I am so relieved and grateful to them both. As it has all been done as promised and in time promised. Now have new mixer tap and no more leaks. Thank you so much for prompt action. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thanks Binzy and Son. Thank you for recommending Nick Bowden of Binzy Building Services Ltd.

He was very busy, but came as early as he could, certainly within 24 hours.

The job that needed doing was to stop a leak from our mains water supply, which comes into the house via a blue plastic pipe, which attaches to copper piping with joints and taps etc.

There were quite a few setbacks in his attempt to restore order, and he went to buy piping and attachments at least twice, finding he had to change his tactics in order to stop the leak. He discussed everything with us as he went along, and in the end, made the shape of the piping less complicated. He would not stop until he had finished.

He was polite and approachable at all times, even when the job became frustrating.

He was with us about 3 hours. We will use him again- we need new radiators!

We recently contacted BBS to install a bannister on our stairs. From the moment I contacted Nick Bowden I have had nothing but professional advice.Nick came and measured up and quoted on the Thursday, giving me full details of what he would do and why. The installation was the next day. Again as he was working he was explaining what he was doing.

When finished he cleaned up and left the staircase clean and tidy.

Nick is now my go to person for jobs  I need doing. Today he replaced a broken light switch and installed LED lighting in my kitchen and bathroom. I called Nick from Binzy Building Services Ltd last week when we discovered my mum's toilet cistern wasn't filling very quickly. Thinking we might have to wait a few days I was pleasantly surprised when Nick said he could come the following afternoon.

Sure enough Nick arrived on time and was soon attending to the job in-hand. Although I wasn't in attendance for the most part, when I did arrive at mum's, Nick took a few moments to explain what work he was doing and pointed out where the problem was located.

Job done, mum seems pretty pleased with his work anyway, I know it's been worrying her for quite some time and I'm happy to say Nick seems to have done a good job and for a reasonable price, thanks Nick!

Binzy Building made repairs to my shed roof and flat garage roof recently, replacing some felting on the shed and sealing joints on the garage. Nick from 'Binzy Building Services' did a fantastic job repairing one of our fence panels, by making some adjustments and securing it back up to it's original position, after it has been blown down by the storms this year. I recently had to find a company to replace the rear door on the garage at my Mum’s house.

Having read some reviews on the Age UK MK website I rang Nick at Binzy Building Services. As my Mum is 89 years old and suffers very badly with osteoarthritis and osteoporosis she’s always worried about new people visiting. Nick came over very quickly and explained everything that was needed, gave an estimate and organised Graham to visit and discuss a convenient time to undertake the work.

I cannot praise both Nick and Graham, not only for a wonderful job but also for their kindness to my Mum and I. We couldn’t be more pleased and would highly recommend Binzy Building Services.

Just to say what excellent service we have received from Nick at BBS Ltd. Earlier in the year he was able to clear a blockage and fit a new tap to my old mum’s sink quickly and efficiently  and just yesterday during the Jubilee bank holiday he came out within half an hour to fault find and engineer a solution to an electrical problem meaning my mum had power throughout the weekend until his electrician could fully secure the issue later on. Always cheerful and quite happy to repeat himself when dealing with my mum who has dementia I cannot recommend Nick and his team highly enough.

Just a note to say that Binzy and Nick did an excellent job on our bathroom refit which was completed yesterday morning, recommended by Age UK Milton Keynes.  
We were pleased that they took the time to explain what was happening at each stage, including the original ordering of items suitable for the size of our bathroom and made sure that the installation of the raised toilet, shower seat and rails were suitable heights for my disabled husband before fitting. It took a little longer than we thought it would, mainly attributed to delivery of items to site rather than workload issues, but we were delighted with the finish, so it was worth the extra time and attention to detail. The bathroom looks great. Thank you.

My problem this Saturday evening, New Year's Day, was that my up-and-over garage door broke a cable and got stuck neither up nor down. I looked on your Trusted Traders scheme and phoned Nick Bowden under Builder & Gen. maintenance.Nick was very helpful on the phone, he explained that I would need a specialist garage door person, but that he would call round straightaway to close the garage door, so that it was not left part open, which was a worry. He took my address and confirmed the call out fee.

Nick turned up as promised and managed to close the garage door and explained what I should say when I contact the specialist person. Nick was pleasant and helpful and did a great job.

We wanted our sink tap replacing together with a replacement waste pipe and two sink wastes and asked Nick Bowden from your trusted trader scheme to carry out the work. In theory it was a straightforward job but due to the age of the double sink and the fact that nothing had been replaced since the house had been built it turned out to be far from easy. Parts had to be specially sourced and purchased and the build up of limescale over the years enhanced the difficulties.

I was so impressed how the plumber rose to the challenges, spending significant time sourcing items and remaining courteous and calm throughout. In addition I was kept fully informed of how the work was progressing and why some of the parts were not immediately available. I was very happy with the quality of the workmanship and the final result (I had feared that they may have walked away due to the fact that it was not an easy job or advised a new sink).

I would recommend them to other people and they are a credit to your scheme
