Update from Age UK Plymouth

Published on 08 May 2026 11:49 AM

Following a recent review within the organisation, the difficult decision has sadly been made to close the cafe at the William and Patricia Venton Centre at Mount Gould.

However, we would like to reassure everyone that all other services and activities within the building continue to operate as normal and the space remains open and available for use.

Self-service tea and coffee making facilities will continue to be available within the building. If you are able to make a small donation towards refreshments, this would be greatly appreciated.

We understand that some people may have questions or concerns following this change. If you would like to speak with someone, please contact enquiries@ageukplymouth.org.uk in the first instance and we will direct your enquiry to the most appropriate person.

Thank you for your continued support.
