Changes to our services and activities

Published on 23 March 2020 04:56 PM

Here at Age UK County Durham, we are monitoring the situation with regard to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) on a daily basis.

Central to our decision making is ensuring the safety of our clients, our volunteers and our staff at all times.

We will continue working through the crisis using strict personal and workplace hygiene methods, home working and social distancing as ways to keep ourselves healthy.

Following the latest government guidelines, we have temporarily suspended our regular activities and closed our charity shop outlets in order to protect our clients, volunteers and staff.  All of those affected by this decision are being contacted to keep them up to date.

If you have to stay at home during this outbreak and would like us to call you once a week or more please let us know.

If you are able to offer practical support during this crisis, please get in touch

If you are unable to offer help directly, you could send us a donation which will ensure we can continue helping older people living in County Durham to remain safe and well through this difficult time and into the future.

You can reach us on 0191 386 3856 or info@ageukcountydurham.org.uk

Thank you for your continued support.
