House of Commons Work and Pensions Committee Transition to State Pension Age Report Publication

In February this year, MPs from the House of Commons Work and Pensions Committee came Age UK County Durham to meet a group of pre pensioners as part of their inquiry into the experiences of those transitioning to their state pensions.

The Government has two months to respond to the Committee's report in writing.

While it is not required to accept the Committee's recommendations, it is required to provide a response to them. The Committee will let us know the Government's response once it has been published.
