Veterans Team Hosted by Ann Davies MP in Westminster

Members of the Veterans Team at Age Cymru Dyfed had the privilege to be hosted by Ann Davies MP in Portcullis House, Westminster (The Houses of Parliament) on 4 November.
An early, start with an 8.30am meeting. The team Jim Glass, Owen Dobson and Heidi Holland were prepared to use the elevator technique for delivering our pitch in a short but informative way.
Several MPs joined us and were struck by the quality of delivery.
Flyers were handed out, and Llinos Medi MP taking several flyers to pass throughout parliamentary offices.
Liz Saville Roberts MP is working in North Wales with Betsi Cadwaladr UHB and several veterans' organisations to improve service delivery.
The team spent an hour in the Union Jack Club on Tuesday evening and were fortunate to find both the Army and RAF Benevolent teams in attendance. Discussions were had and emails exchanged, with close cooperation with both these charities planned.
