Bwy Adref Home Support Service

Bwy Adref is an award-winning service, which supports those aged 50+ to continue to live independently in their own homes and communities with support with day-to-day domestic tasks.

The service

We are a chargeable service which covers Ceredigion, and parts of Carmarthenshire, and Pembrokeshire. Please phone us on 01239 615556 to discuss your needs for support in and around your home.

How can we help?

General household chores in later life can become difficult to maintain or challenging to complete. Our service provides you with home help for everyday tasks such as cleaning, laundry and preparing meals, or you may just like some company, someone to chat with over a cup of tea. We provide a professional service tailored to your needs, assisting with daily tasks and activities around the home that includes;

  • General household chores
  • Laundry and bed changes
  • Light essential shopping from a local shop
  • Meal Preparation
  • Sitting Service
  • Dog walking

Our staff

All our Home Support staff complete a thorough selection and vetting process prior to employment, this includes an enhanced DBS check and training. We will endeavour to provide the service in Welsh or English as you prefer.

Other Services

Alongside our valuable Home Support Service, we also run a social foot care clinic for the over 50s.

Our volunteers are trained by the Podiatry Department of Hywel Dda University Health Board to provide a basic footcare service.
