Trading Manager Roger Harris is always pleased to be given the opportunity to promote the services and support we offer in Northamptonshire.  He was delighted to be invited to set up an information stall in the fabulous new atrium at Wootton Community Centre on Wednesday 15th September.  Roger's visit to the parish council's newly extended building was designed to coincide with the regular afternoon meeting of Wootton Seniors Club.

We say a huge thank you to Jean Penny [second from right], chairman of the Wootton Seniors Club, and fellow committee members Anita Orton, Pat Finch and Trish Sharp for their warm welcome.  We welcome any opportunity to let older people know how Age UK Northamptonshire can help them, and not everyone has access to the wealth of infomration on the internet.  Sometimes it is just more effective to meet in person and be able answer questions.

The new Atrium is light and airy and connects the libary to the cafe at Wootton Community Centre.

Roger was able to answer questions about our Toenail Cutting Service and the Carers Sitting Service and also give out copies of the popular Age UK Lifebook, as well as brochures for mobility aids and other products.

Please get in touch if you are holding an event or organising a group meeting who might be interested in hearing a few words from Age UK Northamptonshire.  Call us on 01604 611200 or email access@ageuknorthants.org.uk .
