Thank you for visiting us in Northampton
Our Chief Executive Chris Duff was delighted to speak to Chair of North Northamptonshire Council, Cllr Lora Lawman [pictured above], at The William and Patricia Venton Centre on Friday 25th April. As a local independent charity that provides services throughout the county we were pleased to welcome Cllr Lawman and her husband Cllr Graham Lawman, who is Leader of Wellingborough Town Council, to our day centre. The Open Day was an opportunity for local residents and other health and social care professionals to meet our staff and to learn more about the support we provide.
Sales & Marketing Manager Roger Harris was able to answer questions about Lasting Power of Attorney and show off the lifeline pendant that is provided by Careline 365. Some people like to wear the lifeline as a wristband but it can also be supplied as a "go anywhere" GPS-enabled pendant which can be used outside the home.
Christine Goodwin from our Information & Advice Team was able to answer questions about benefits entitlements and explain how to claim Attendance Allowance. All three managers from our day centres in Northampton, Towcester and Kettering were also on hand to give more information on what a typical day with us entails. Caroline Roy, our Volunteers Coordinator, was pleased to speak to several people who are thinking about volunteering and needed to know what roles we have available.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and visit us. Please browse this website if you have any unanswered questions about our services and support.
