African drumming at Northampton day centre

What a fantastic day we've had!

Our Day Care clients in Northampton were energised and stimulated by the rhythmic sounds of their own drumming last Tuesday when DFK Community Hub brought their impressive selection of African drums to The William and Patricia Venton Centre. “I know this song off by heart,” cried David, as he and everyone in the room enthusiastically joined in Janice Essam’s thumping beat of ‘Maybe It’s Because I’m A Londoner’.

Christine and Jean loved the drumming.  "It certainly keeps us awake," joked Jean.
