Record-breaking benefits claimed for older people in 2017-2018

Age UK Solihull are very pleased to announce that through the Older People's Benefits Service, the Volunteer Attendance Allowance Visiting Service and the Warm & Well Project we have ensured that older people claim £2,230,886.37 a year better off.
The highest figure we achieved was two years ago which was £1.8m.
We are extremely pleased that we have been able to help so many older people be financially better off.
