Two Crooners at Solihull Methodist Church Hall

On Thursday 24 May 2018, a singing duo who go by the name of 'Two Crooners & an Age Gap' put on an afternoon show at Solihull Methodist Church Hall with over 100 guests.

It was a great afternoon of singing and lots of light-hearted jokes about aging and young people - bridging that gap between two generations and getting young and older people thinking about each other, and how they can help one another.

We are pleased to say that £337.25 was raised from this event from donations, raffle and sponsorship from Skipton Building Society.

Matthew and John make up the 'Two Crooners' and they sang songs from Frank Sinatra and Bing Cosby times.

It was great to see so many guests attend our event and we'd like to thank all those that came along. We'd like to thank Matthew, John and their live band - they were fantastic. a 'thank you' to Victoria Maxine for compering the event for us and her wonderful dance group, 'Ladies Who Dance'. We'd also like to thank all our volunteers that helped out on the day, we would not have been able to run the event without them.
