Age UK Somerset is a proud member of Open Mental Health, an alliance of local voluntary organisations and the NHS. 

Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and we might not know where to turn for help. At Age UK Somerset, we are proud to be part of Open Mental Health, a Somerset-wide alliance that brings together the NHS, Somerset Council, and local community organisations.

We work as one team to make sure there is "no wrong door" when you need support. Our approach is shaped by people with lived experience of mental health challenges, ensuring our services are kind, trauma-informed, and inclusive. From 24/7 emotional support and crisis safe spaces to advice with housing and debt, or help getting active, we support the whole person—not just a diagnosis.

We are here for every adult in Somerset, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

While a healthcare professional can refer you to Open Mental Health, it is easy to get in touch yourself. Just send a message or call the team at Mindline Somerset on 01823 276892 or freephone 0800 138 1692, and ask the person on the phone to refer you to Open Mental Health.
