About the Role

This is a rewarding administration role within the charity sector, based in our Taunton, Somerset office. The successful candidate will support our community advice services and make a meaningful difference to older people every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative service delivery support for the Advice and Support department
  • Data management / monitoring and data reporting
  • CRM / database maintenance
  • Planning, coordination and scheduling of outreach sessions
  • Processing and coordination of referrals, enquiries and applications
  • Maintaining effective communication with clients, carers, professionals and partner organisations

 

Skills & Experience

  • Office administration within a customer-facing environment
  • Understanding of a charity or social care environment is a bonus (but not essential)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Data entry, record keeping and CRM / database management
  • Producing reports or processing data for monitoring
  • Diary management / scheduling
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Handling enquiries via telephone, email and written communication.
