Wheelchair Loan

Here at Age UK Wakefield District, we understand that mobility and range of motion can change over time.  Sometimes after a fall or hospital stay, people might need a bit of support getting round and about or maybe there's a special occasion or trip which would be made possible with the use of a wheelchair.

We offer short term loans of wheelchairs and rollators for a small weekly cost.

1st week £20, subsequent weeks £10 per week

This includes delivery, a demonstration of how to use it and collection. All our wheelchairs are serviced and checked for safety on an annual basis.
