Full job description
The Project Worker for the Oral Histories Programme will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of an engaging and effective project focused on collecting and preserving oral histories from older individuals. The role includes ensuring smooth coordination between participants, volunteers, partner organisations, and internal teams, as well as developing and maintaining systems for data management, interviews, and event organisation.
- 3 days per week- Flexible working

- Full driving license and unrestricted access to car essential
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in project coordination, particularly within the charitable or community sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with older individuals or diverse communities.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in working with volunteers and partner organizations.
- A strong interest in oral histories and preserving community narratives.
- Knowledge of best practices for conducting interviews, data protection, and confidentiality.
- Ability to use audio editing software or a willingness to learn (training may be provided).
- Familiarity with Age UKWD's operational guidelines and ethical standards.
