Our offer

  • Salary: £21,164 per annum pro rata
  • Salaried positions, 5 week’s holiday plus bank holidays, company pension & sick pay
  • Various hours’ contracts available up to 30 hours with the option of overtime (min 16 hour contracts)
  • Paid training provided, paid travel time and mileage allowance
  • No experience necessary
  • Work in your local community and across Wakefield District
  • Flexible working within the service hours (7am to 10pm) including unsociable hours working early mornings, evenings, alternate weekends and Bank Holidays. 
  • A work phone and app to complete visit tasks
  • Every call is at least 30 minutes so you can spend quality time with the client (even time for a cuppa)

Essential requirements

  • Applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
  • Applicants must be able to drive with access to a vehicle with business use insurance and be able to reliably commute or relocate to Wakefield District, West Yorkshire for this job.

Main Duties

Supporting people to remain independent in their own homes providing but not limited to:

  • Help with medicines
  • Meal preparation
  • Assistance with bathing and showering
  • Domestic support including shopping, cleaning, laundry and ironing
  • Social support including outings/ appointments
