The Age UK Somerset Singers

Do you enjoy singing? Then you should come along to our singing group in Bridgwater!
Thursday mornings 10.30am-12 noon at The Sydenham Centre, Parkway, Bridgwater TA6 4QZ
We are a welcoming group of people who love to sing!
Don't worry, no prior experience or singing talent is required. Just come along and enjoy the joy of singing!
We sing a wide variety of 20th-century songs so there is something for everyone.
Open to all aged 60 and over, including those living with dementia or memory impairment and their carers (who can attend for free).
As well as being fun, music and singing are known to enhance wellbeing and social interaction and help cognitive function. It can also really help to reduce feelings of anxiety and depression, stimulate memories and improve communication skills. Additionally, music can create a sense of engagement and joy, fostering social connections and improving the overall quality of life for all including both those living with dementia and their care givers. Plus it's fun!
£5 per session - Carers can attend for free.
