This role is ideal for people with experience or interest in:

  • Creative facilitation or group work
  • Arts, wellbeing or community-based roles
  • Education, drama, music, storytelling or similar fields
  • Supporting people in a warm, inclusive group setting (for example, a care home activities coordinator)
  • Using creativity to support health and quality of life

Creativity with Purpose

In this role, you’ll deliver weekly themed group sessions for people living with mild to moderate dementia. Through games, discussion, storytelling and imaginative activities, you’ll help participants:

  • Maintain memory and thinking skills

Fun is central to the way we work, and creativity is key. You’ll have the freedom to design engaging theme-based sessions that spark curiosity, encourage participation, and inspire meaningful conversation. Your ideas, energy and personality will help shape each session into a safe, inclusive, and engaging space.

You’ll work within a therapeutic framework, using Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) principles alongside creative approaches such as music, drama and imagery to promote engagement, self-expression, and emotional wellbeing. As a facilitator, you’ll be confident and compassionate, guiding sessions sensitively while responding to individual needs, personalities and health considerations.

Training & Professional Development

You will receive specialist training in Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) as well as dementia support training, giving you the skills, confidence and knowledge to deliver high-quality, meaningful group sessions.
