Our Office Services Coordinator will become part of a supportive team that values collaboration and continuous improvement to be able to do more for older people. 

 

Contract:     Permanent

Hours:         Part Time, 14 hours per week (or 15 hrs, depending on working pattern agreed)

Salary:         £23,008 FTE (£9,203 actual)   

Location:     Taunton

Within this varied role, you’ll support the Wellbeing Services & Office Support Manager in ensuring the smooth running of our office systems & services.

The IT and data aspect of the post will require you to call upon your knowledge of Microsoft (and other) systems, IT practices and your natural aptitude for understanding commonly used technology to troubleshoot basic issues. Your communication skills in conveying technical information to non-technical users and liaising with our external helpdesk support providers will also be key.

The coordination of office services such as cleaning, supplies and mail as well as providing some administrative support for our frontline Wellbeing services will also feature as part of your duties.

This is a role that may suit someone with previous experience as an office manager or senior administrator, with the ability to solve problems and possessing at least a good understanding of office systems and IT infrastructure.  You will have the confidence to step in to cover your manager’s absence, be experienced in an office administration environment and understand the importance of cybersecurity, data protection and safe IT practices.
