Age UK Kensington and Chelsea celebrates 20th anniversary of the Health Fair
On 20th October 2017 Age UK Kensington and Chelsea celebrated 20 years of its annual Health Fair. Held in Kensington Town Hall, the event brought together community groups, statutory organisations and local businesses to showcase the best our borough has to offer over 55s.
We welcomed around 700 guests throught the doors, as well as over 40 stallholders. The event catered to all needs, providing information about the support and services available to help older residents make the most of later life, as well as opportunities to enjoy dancing, singing, cookery tasters, health checks, live music, beauty treatments, therapy tasters and much, much more.
We were supported on the day by 45 fantastic volunteers from the Department for Work & Pensions, University College London and Age UK national.
