Kings and Queens

Age UK Kensington & Chelsea hosted a party celebrating our members in the Royal Borough of Kensington, at the Chelsea Football Stadium.

A large portion of the elderly population in the UK suffer from isolation and loneliness with more than 2 million people, over the age of 75, living alone, and specifically in Kensington and Chelsea 61% of the people over 65 live alone.

The event helped bring together elderly members in the community and created an environment for them to socialise and make new friends in a fun and celebratory way. Age UK Kensington & Chelsea is dedicated to enriching older peoples’ experiences and has many more fun activities and services for people to attend and get involved in the community.
