Adopting bears in Newport Pagnell

Published on 11 June 2018 10:35 AM

Age UK Milton Keynes started out in Newport Pagnell in 1978 so we were especially thrilled to join in Newport Pagnell Town Council's Vintage Fair on Saturday 9th June.

The hand-knitted dolls and war-related craft items in the window of our lovely shop at number 58a in the High Street drew crowds of admirers and staff and volunteers had dressed in their best vintage style.  Further down the high street children could "adopt a teddy" from our stall, helping to raise vital funds that enable us to provide support to local older people.

Thank you to everyone who visited our teddy stall or called into our shop.  Every purchase makes a difference locally.
