NCS volunteers sort donations

A group of young volunteers chose to make a difference to older people during their week of social action

As a local independent charity, Age UK Milton Keynes is always delighted when young people in Milton Keynes choose to support us.  We would like to thank two groups of NCS (National Citizens Service) volunteers who recently spent two days sorting donations at our furniture store in Kiln Farm. Phase 3 of the summer programme calls for "social action" and they are asked to devise a community project.  These volunteers in Milton Keynes chose to focus on making a difference to the older people in their community by helping a charity that supports older people.
