Summer fundraisers make a difference

Thank you to 15 teams of enthusiastic quizzers, to quiz masters Pat and Neil Hodges and the lovely volunteers from Sainsbury’s for being part of another hugely enjoyable and successful event.  Our Summer Quiz on Wednesday 24th July, with Ploughman's and Eton Mess, raised a magnificent £1,199.

And later in the month 19 amazing volunteers gave up their August Bank Holiday Monday to help run our tea tent at The Winslow Show on the hottest day of the year.  Special appreciation must be given to Bob Strudwick, Andy James and Dick Evans whose day started at 6am.  We are enormously grateful to you all for your efforts which helped to raise a brilliant £1,791.  As a local independent charity, every penny is vital to us and will support the services we provide to people in Milotn Keynes.
