Age UK Milton Keynes says a huge thank you to local residents

Few things are more encouraging for local charities than being actively supported by people living in their community, people who have personal experience of the services we provide or know people we have helped.  We were thrilled to receive a magnificent donation of £4,026.24 from the residents of Kennington Close in Newport Pagnell.  Every Christmas they decorate their houses with increasingly spectacular Christmas lights and collect donations from the visiting public.

All proceeds are shared by Age UK Milton Keynes and Willen Hospice, ensuring that the donated money will make a hugely positive difference to many lives.  We are enormously grateful to Maureen and Simon and their neighbours for continuing to support us and Willen Hospice,  and for bringing so much good cheer to Milton Keynes.  We are always impressed by their amazing Christmas display and by how much effort and hard work they put into creating it.  This year we were particularly bowled over by the little train!
