🎄 We’re sorry to mention Christmas (although mince pies have been in the shops for at least a month!), but here’s a date you’ll want to put in your diary before it gets filled up!
Age UK Somerset warmly invites the community to its FREE Christmas Carol Service in the magnificent Wells Cathedral on Wednesday 10th December at 11am.
This much-loved event, sponsored by Somerset Care Group, promises to be a joyful morning of carols, music, and celebration. The service will feature a special performance by the Taunton Deane Male Voice Choir, adding even more festive spirit to the occasion.
The Christmas Carol Service is open to all, creating a welcoming atmosphere where people of all ages can gather to share in the joy of the season.
💙 Donations from the collection will support Age UK Somerset’s vital work – helping us to be there for older people when they have nowhere else to turn.
Phil Dolan, Chief Executive of Age UK Somerset, said:
“Christmas should be a time of togetherness, but sadly, many older people in Somerset will face it alone. Our Carol Service at Wells Cathedral is a wonderful opportunity for the community to unite in festive celebration, while also helping us continue our essential work.”
