The Big Knit 2025 – A Huge Thank You!

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have reached our target for the Big Knit 2025 campaign!

Thanks to the amazing efforts of our local knitters, a staggering 15,000 little hats were created and sent in.

As a result, Age UK Somerset has received £4,500 from Innocent, which will go directly towards helping us reach and support many more older people across Somerset.

We would like to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who took part. Your kindness, creativity and generosity are making a real difference.

The good news is that the Big Knit will return in 2026 – so please keep knitting! Full details will be shared as soon as we have them.
